We come across the projections of a politics based on tension, polarization and separation in the world, which started especially with the election of Donald Trump as the US President. It is possible to clearly notice the conscious effort to create this trend. Unfortunately, this understanding that drives races, religious groups and countries to act against each other and group together is increasingly fueled in today’s world. It has always been a very irregular and aggressive period, which started as trade wars and subsequently included anti-immigrant sentiment, justification and recognition of invasions, forced change of hands of country administrations, attacks on religious temples, unlawful recognition of alternative rulers to country leaders, and economic attacks and sanctions for countries that resisted pressure. We live together. It is obvious that this systematic structure, which can be called an eclipse of reason, will continue for a while. It is impossible to predict which way the superpower, acting under a certain guidance, will strike and what kind of consequences this situation will lead to. A balance mechanism is needed in the world more than ever. Anyone who challenges or opposes the system is wanted to be destroyed and surpassed. If a country has abundant energy resources, political, military or popular movements are organized and the country is brought down. As a result, either leaders are placed there that will allow the exploitation of resources, or they are made to fight against each other, creating an environment of civil war. We are all watching and living through a period in which recklessness and disobedience are at the highest level in the world. While Israel is being patted on the back for occupying Jerusalem and the ancient Palestinian lands, brand new plans and calculations are being made in the Muslim geography. Countries that cannot shake off the pain of the Arab Spring are once again being dragged into turmoil. Bloodthirsty tyrants who detect the soft underbelly of countries can destroy civilizations without mercy. They bring the pawn organizations they established into the field and then, with the painful defeats they inflict on them, they create new heroes, arm them and plan for new conflicts. They plot treacherous ambitions on the children of the same atmosphere and the same land, who know and understand each other, and are looking for new conflicts in the face of differences. The only goal of this brutal order based on uncivilization and brutality is to turn the world into a fire and seize resources in this chaos.
The only defense against these desires for slaughter and hostility is neither with weapons nor with struggle. Resistance against these attacks can only be achieved by internalizing the spirit of unity and solidarity among all individuals. Regardless of language, religion or race, the only way to resist this bloody order will be to remember our humanity and use the language of brotherhood more. It is very, very important, especially in this process, to see differences as richness, cultural variables as valuable values and to reflect this in all areas of life. It is essential for all social units to act within the framework of tolerance, understanding, respect and love, and to develop a philosophy around goodwill and friendship. At the slightest point of negligence or weakness, bloodthirsty murderers will put their poisonous plans into practice without batting an eyelid or mercy. As individuals and as a society, we must be vigilant and keep our brotherhood constantly fit.
Our togetherness, brotherhood, friendship, love and unity of heart have passed through a millennia-old sieve and come to this day. That’s why we neither disperse, bow down, nor kneel. The attacks are crushed in our steel chest, they fall on the heads of those who planned them, and we destroy their fictions and plans. We are one, we were one, we will remain one, and as Turkey, we will continue our path of contemporary civilization tirelessly and tirelessly.
I greet you with these wishes and wishes, and while celebrating the May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day of all our worker brothers, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
Kind regards,
Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca
