The requirement for exporters to export every calendar year in order to obtain a special stamped passport has been abolished.
According to a written statement by the Ministry of Interior, the requirement for exporters to export every calendar year in order to receive a special stamped passport has been changed.
According to the amendment, the average of the total export amount in the last three calendar years at the rate specified in the law will be sufficient for the issuance of a green passport.
Within the scope of Article 14 of the Passport Law No. 5682, the “Decision on the Principles Regarding the Issuance of Special Stamped Passports to Exporters” entered into force in March last year.
Accordingly, company officials who exported the amount specified in the decision could receive a special stamped passport. With the Presidential Decree No. 214 published in the Official Gazette in the previous days, the “Decree on the Principles Regarding the Issuance of Special Stamped Passports to Exporters” was amended.
- Green passports will be given to exporters according to the average exports of three years
With the latest amendment, the requirement of “exporting every calendar year” for the issuance of a special stamped passport has been abolished.
