President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement regarding Armenia’s attack on Azerbaijan.
In his statement on his Twitter account, Erdoğan said, “Armenia, which added a new one to its attacks against Azerbaijan, has once again shown that it is the biggest threat to peace and tranquility in the region. The Turkish nation stands by its Azerbaijani brothers with all its means today, as always.” he said.
President Erdoğan said:
“The international community, which has not been able to put forward a necessary and adequate reaction to Armenia’s provocative aggression, once again shows its double standards. Unfortunately, the Minsk trio, which has continued its neglectful attitude for nearly 30 years, is far from being solution-oriented. It is the Armenian people who are subjected to their administrations that dragged them into disaster and their puppets.” While we invite those who use it to protect their future, we call on the whole world to stand by Azerbaijan in their fight against occupation and oppression.
“As I expressed to my brother, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, whose astute and determined stance I witnessed once again during our telephone conversation today, Turkey will continue to strengthen its solidarity with its Azerbaijani brothers with the understanding of ‘one nation, two states’.”
