İsmail Demir, President of the Presidency of the Presidency of Defence Industries, stated that the number of Turkish companies in the “Defense News Top 100”, which is considered to be the world’s most prestigious defense industry list, has increased to 7, and said, “We are extremely happy that while we had 2 companies on the list 4 years ago, the number has increased to 7 today. Our goal is to be on this list with more defense companies.”
In a post on his Twitter account, Demir evaluated the “Defense News Top 100” list prepared by Defense News magazine.
Drawing attention to the point that ASELSAN, TAI, ROKETSAN, STM Defence Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc, HAVELSAN, FNSS Defence and BMC have reached in the world’s most prestigious defence industry list with their turnover, Demir said:
“Our national defense industry is growing day by day. Seven of our companies were included in the Defense News magazine’s list of defense companies with the highest turnover in the world. While 2 of our companies were on the list 4 years ago, we are extremely happy that this number has increased to 7 today. I congratulate our companies on the list and wish them continued success. Our goal is to have more defense companies on this list.”
