It was decided to charge a one-time fee for television, radio, video and combined devices imported from abroad and devices that can receive visual and audio broadcasts other than these, effective from 2020.
The decision was published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and entered into force.
HERE ARE THE FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR THE DEVICES
According to the decision, televisions will be charged 10 euro up to 51 screens, 16 euro between 52 screens-67 screens, 22 euro between 68 screens-85 screens, 34 euro between 86 screens-116 screens, 40 euro between 117 screens-148 screens, 80 euro for 148 screens and above, and 8 euro for auto televisions.
In radios, pocket type, 1 euro, clock radio and radio clocks, radios on a musical instrument, radios and searchlights on toys and fans with radios, 1 euro, 1 euro from auto radio receivers, 2 euro from portable radio receivers.
Video devices will be charged 18 euros.
Set-top media boxes and all kinds of satellite receiving devices will be charged 7 euros, while television-radio 9 euros, television-radio-tape 13 euros, television-video 19 euros, television-radio-video 21 euros will be paid from combined devices.
