Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank made an evaluation on his Twitter account regarding the Turkey Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.
Pointing out that the real sector gained momentum in July and that the PMI index also increased after economic confidence and capacity utilization, Varank said, “We have differentiated positively from many countries by seeing the highest level in the index since February 2011. Expectations on the production front are positive.” made his assessment.
According to the graph included in Varank’s post, Turkey left behind many countries, including China, the USA, France and Italy, with the value of 56.9 in the index in July.
