According to the announcement on the website of the Revenue Administration, changes have been made in the tax collection protocols signed with banks, effective from January 1, 2020.
Accordingly, the taxes, fees, penalties and other receivables that are monitored and collected by the tax office directorates are collected from Ziraat Bank, Halk Bank, Vakıflar Bank, Ziraat Katılım Bank, Vakıf Katılım Bank, Türkiye Emlak Katılım Bankası and Post and Telegraph Organization (excluding tax office cashiers). Collection will continue through PTT).
Collections will not be made by other banks in cash, from account, by check, by debit card, by money transfer or by EFT.
Payments by credit card can be made through private banks.
Income tax (income tax from real estate/movable capital income, wages, other earnings and income), motor vehicle tax, traffic administrative fine, Highway Transportation Law administrative fine, toll and administrative fine, other administrative fines, financial restructuring laws, debts in installments within the scope of the Law on the Collection Procedure of Public Receivables, title deed, phone usage permit fee brought by passengers, student loan and contribution loan debts, passport fee and valuable paper fee, driver’s license fee and valuable paper fee, Turkish ID card fee, dormitory Departure from abroad, Immigration Administration residence fee, residence permit book sales fee, single entry visa fee, fine income, inheritance and transfer tax debts will continue to be collected using credit cards through designated public and private banks.
