Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya reported that social assistance payments and salaries have been delivered to 100 thousand 244 families at their homes since Friday.
In his statement on Twitter, Yerlikaya stated that there are 142,207 citizens in Istanbul who receive social assistance of one thousand liras with the “Economic Stability Shield” and 142,207 citizens who receive salaries within the scope of the Law No. 2022 “Law on the Monthly Pension for Needy, Powerless and Orphaned Turkish Citizens who have reached the age of 65”.
Governor Yerlikaya said, “From 10:00 on Friday until 18:00 today, we delivered salaries to 100 thousand 244 families in their homes. We will hopefully deliver it to 41 thousand 963 citizens.”
