TEMPORARY EXPORT STORAGE AREA MEETING AT TİM

The meeting on the “Temporary Export Storage Area” organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly took place on Friday, December 27 at the TIM Foreign Trade Complex.

LASIAD Chairman of the Board of Directors Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Vice Chairman Turan Yavuz, Board Members Cebrail Karaarslan, Bülent Koca, Ahmet Ceylan and Secretary General Şerafettin Yüzüak attended the meeting attended by Deputy Minister of Trade Rıza Tuna Turagay, Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati, TIM President İsmail Gülle and representatives of sectoral NGOs.

Within the scope of the application, it was stated that with the opening of the airway, cargo companies will be allocated space in the temporary storage area, the goods within the scope of the special invoice will come to the temporary storage area and from there they will be loaded onto trucks and sent.

Deputy Minister of Trade Rıza Tuna Turagay noted: “It is essential to register in order for the system to continue, the purpose here is not to raise your costs, but to ensure that you become exporters and benefit from the advantages of being an exporter. Somehow it is becoming necessary to register the system, and we are getting closer every day. These are issues that are constantly brought up in our meetings with Russians and other countries. The registration process would be good both for your institutionalization and for you to benefit from export supports.”

At the meeting where the presidents and representatives of NGOs shared their thoughts on the issue, Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati said: ”We will stop this work unless the application actually becomes operational on February 18. We need to act in the middle way, if we act in the middle way, both the state and the nation win.

İsmail Gülle emphasized that their aim as TİM is to solve problems: ” We need people who grow our business. We can have a meeting whenever and whatever you need. This meeting will lead to very good things.
