“The AYMOD, the world’s second-largest fair in its field, organized by CNR Holding’s subsidiary Pozitif Fuarcılık in collaboration with the Turkish Footwear Industrialists’ Association (TASD), the Turkish Footwear Sector Research and Development Education Foundation (TASEV), the Turkish General Footwear Federation (TUAF), and the Istanbul Footwear Craftsmen Chamber (İASEO), has opened. The International Footwear Fashion Fair started on April 5th at CNR EXPO Yeşilköy with the participation of over 1,400 brands. Buyers from 59 countries, including Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, the UAE, and Iran, attended the fair.
On April 6th, LASİAD Board Chairman Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Board Vice Chairmen Ercan Hardal and Erdem Soylu Karabağlı, Board Members Tarık Nayman and Arif Özkan toured the stands. Arif Özkan, a member of the LASİAD Board, also participated in the fair with his own company ‘Özkan Shoes.’
The 57th AYMOD Fair and the “100,000 Pairs of Shoes” Project with Kızılay
The 57th AYMOD Fair opened its doors to visitors on April 5th. Some participating companies collaborated with Kızılay to collect 100,000 pairs of shoes for those in need. On the evening of April 6th, the owners of donating companies were rewarded. The award ceremony was attended by Mehmet Büyükekşi, the President of the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TİM), and Arif Özkan, a Board Member of LASİAD.”
