The best sellers in second-hand cars in April have been announced

The most preferred automotive brand in the second-hand online market remained unchanged in April this year, becoming Volkswagen (VW), followed by Renault and Fiat.

According to the information compiled by the AA correspondent from the second-hand online market report prepared by the Automotive Distributors Association (ODD) based on INDICATA data, a total of 127 thousand 252 units were sold in the Turkish second-hand online automobile and light commercial vehicle market in April.

Of these, 103 thousand 149 were passenger vehicles and 24 thousand 103 were light commercial vehicles. The share of passenger cars in sales was determined as 81 percent, and the share of light commercial vehicles was 19 percent.

72 percent of the advertised vehicles were sold

There was a decrease of 11 percent in sales compared to the same period last year and 17 percent compared to the previous month.

In April, 177 thousand 589 vehicles were advertised in Turkey’s second-hand online passenger and light commercial market. Accordingly, 72 percent of the advertised vehicles were sold. There was a 21 percent decrease in the ratio of advertised and sold vehicles (considering vehicles that were completely removed from the advertisement to be sold) compared to last month, and a 12 percent decrease compared to the same period last year.

Top 10 best selling brands

In April this year, the most preferred automotive (passenger and light commercial) brand in the second-hand online market was VW with 20 thousand 400 units. Next was Renault with 18 thousand 582 units, and Fiat with 13 thousand 341 units.

These were followed by Ford with 12 thousand 309 units, Opel with 7 thousand 832 units, Peugeot with 6 thousand 363 units, BMW with 6 thousand 351 units, Mercedes-Benz with 5 thousand 907 units, Hyundai with 5 thousand 807 units and Toyota with 4 thousand 101 units. These brands represented 79 percent of sales in the second-hand online market.

The fastest Renault sold

The fastest selling brand in the online market in April was Renault with 39 days. The slowest seller was determined to be BMW with a sales rate of 57 days.

Passat continues its leadership in passenger car sales

The top spot in the best-selling passenger model rankings of the top 10 most preferred brands in the second-hand online market in April remained unchanged.

In sales, VW’s Passat model again led the way with 6 thousand 616 units, followed by Renault Clio with 4 thousand 874 units and Renault Megane with 4 thousand 454 units.

Then Opel Astra with 4 thousand 299 units, Renault Fluence with 3 thousand 707 units, Ford Focus with 3 thousand 455 units, VW Polo with 3 thousand 84 units, VW Golf with 2 thousand 992 units, Renault Symbol with 2 thousand 988 units and VW Jetta with 2 thousand 905 units. came.

Fiorino is first in business

In the light commercial vehicles category, Fiat Fiorino ranked first in April with 3 thousand 164 units.

This was followed by Fiat Doblo with 3 thousand 104 units, Ford Transit/Tourneo Courier with 2 thousand 151 units, Ford Transit/Tourneo Connect with 2 thousand 33 units, VW Caddy with 1,615 units, Ford Transit with 1,451 units, Renault Kangoo with 1,332 units, Peugeot Partner with 1,203 units, and Peugeot Partner with 588 units. Citroen Berlingo and VW Transporter followed with 584 units.
