Ismail Gülle, who was elected as the Chairman of the Board at the 25th Ordinary General Assembly of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) held on June 30, officially took over the position from Mehmet Büyükekşi. In his speech during the handover ceremony on July 3, 2018, at the Foreign Trade Complex Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall, Ismail Gülle acknowledged the challenges faced by exporters, stating, “I have taken on this responsibility not alone but with exporters. You all know this job the best. My duty is to ensure coordination and work as a team.”
The handover ceremony was attended by the presidents and board members of Exporter Unions, representatives of NGOs, and sector representatives. Muhammed Sancaktar, the Vice Chairman of the Board, and Şerafettin Yüzüak, the General Secretary, represented LASAİD at the ceremony.
