The Istanbul Leather and Leather Products Exporters’ Association (İDMİB) awarded 333 successful companies of 2017 in five different categories at the ‘Exporters Making a Difference’ Awards Ceremony. The ceremony, held on Thursday, October 25th, at the Foreign Trade Complex, recognized exporters with platinum, gold, silver, bronze, and success certificates.
Addressing the opening of the ceremony, Mustafa Şenocak, the President of the Istanbul Leather and Leather Products Exporters’ Association, stated, ‘Among the companies receiving export awards today, we have firms that have exported to over 50 countries in the last year, achieved a unit price per kilogram exceeding $300 in exports, and exported to countries such as Gambia, Liechtenstein, and Togo where no exports have been made in the last 3 years.’
Prominent figures in the industry attended the event, including LASİAD Board Members Arif Özkan and Tarık Nayman.
