The 12th edition of the Forum Istanbul 2013 gala dinner and award ceremony, supported by TİM (Turkish Exporters Assembly), where developments in the global and Turkish economies were assessed, took place on May 6, 2013, at the Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul.
The event was attended by TİM President Mehmet Büyükekşi, FİBA Holding Board Chairman Hüsnü Özyeğin, LASİAD Board President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, OTİAD Board Chairman Ali Ulvi Orhan, Economic Writer Meliha Okur, and numerous other guests.
The “Lifetime Achievement” Award was presented to Altan Öymen and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aysan, while the “Achievement in Carrying Our National Honor to an International Level” Award was given to Dr. Ahmet Lokurlu. Ahmet Eren received the Education Award for his contributions to the construction of schools and universities in Bitlis and scholarships provided to students. Diyarbakır Gürünlü Village and the Century-Old Brands Association were also honored with appreciation plaques.
