“The opening of the Giyimkent Textile Permanent Fair Center located in Esenler took place on Friday, April 7, with the participation of representatives from the textile and ready-to-wear industry. The opening, which began with the recitation of the Quran, featured a speech by Muzaffer Cevizli, the Chairman of the Board of Giyimkent. Cevizli highlighted that Giyimkent, built on an area of approximately 496 thousand square meters, continues to contribute to Turkey’s exports. He also noted that the Textile Permanent Fair will further contribute to production, exports, and employment. After the speeches, Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş cut the ribbon and toured the stands. Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş, Mayor of Esenler Mehmet Tevfik Göksu, Esenler District Governor Hulusi Şahin, AK Party Istanbul Deputy Abdullah Başçı, and Tarık Nayman, Board Member of LASİAD, attended the opening.”
