Our country’s foreign trade has achieved a noticeable improvement in geometrical terms, especially during the pandemic period. While our exports increased at a higher rate than our imports, our foreign trade deficit began to decrease significantly. Our country, which can transform imported inputs into significant added value and export them, is slowly finding the balance it seeks in this sense. This momentum, based on the fact that more exports are essential for the goal of a more prosperous Turkey, brings us one step closer to the goal with export records announced every month. I hope that this success, achieved with the great effort and dedication of each of our exporters, will be the signals of a permanent transformation. Turkey, which is the production base of its region, will rise to a position worthy of its glory in terms of exports. Each achievement made in innovation, innovation and investment is one of the most important elements that will carry us to the target of Turkey having a foreign trade surplus.
