On the evening of March 23rd, at Raffles Istanbul Zorlu Center, İTHİB honored the leaders in the textile sector who have made significant contributions to the country’s economy with their success. The award ceremony, attended by Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, highlighted the crucial role of exports in Turkey’s development, with the textile sector being the pioneer in export mobilization in the past, as pointed out by Minister Zeybekci.
During the ceremony, Kadifeteks received the award for being the company exporting to the most countries, RojaBrode Sanayi received the award for producing the highest added value, and S3 İplik Sanayi was honored for achieving the most increased exports.
In recognition of their achievements, LASİAD Board Vice President Ahmet Turan’s Turkuaz Tekstil received the silver plaque, and former LASİAD Board Vice President Mehmet Yasubuğa’s Süper Tekstil received the gold plaque.
Representing LASİAD at the event were Vice President Ahmet Turan and Board Member Arif Özkan.
