The Law on Reducing the Effects of the New Coronavirus (Covid-19) Epidemic on Economic and Social Life and the Proposal on Amending Some Laws were accepted by the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and became law.

The periods for granting authority determinations within the scope of the Law on Trade Unions and Collective Labor Agreements, conclusion of collective labor agreements, resolution of collective labor disputes, and strikes and lockouts will be extended for 3 months from the date of entry into force of the regulation.
Applications for short-time working payments will be finalized quickly.
In disabled care centers and nursing homes within the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, services will be provided to the elderly and disabled people, regardless of the income criteria required in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Social Services Law and the severe disability condition for three months.
Resources can be transferred from the budget of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance to the revolving fund management units of the medical faculties and dentistry faculties of state universities.

Manufacturers, suppliers and retail businesses who make exorbitant increases in the sales price of a good or service will be fined from 10 thousand lira to 100 thousand lira; Those who engage in activities that create shortages in the market and disrupt market balance and free competition will be given an administrative fine of 50 thousand liras to 500 thousand liras.
In order to benefit from the short-time working application, applications made during the period when short-time working is applied at the workplace will be finalized within 60 days from the application date, excluding eligibility determinations.
The submission date of the audit reports of Turkey Wealth Fund Management Inc. or other companies and sub-funds to be established to the President will be moved from June to August.
Due to compelling reasons arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, the validity period of licenses issued within the scope of the Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Law and whose validity will expire in 2020 will be extended by one year.
Annual dues regulated in accordance with the Travel Agencies and Travel Agents Association Law will not be collected in 2020.
