Numbeo, a research firm that ranks the world’s cities according to their crime rates, has announced its “World’s Safest Cities” list. The questionnaire, which was presented to the participants, was created by entering information such as the severity of the crime level in their city, the amount of change in the level of crime in the last three years, the fear of being robbed, carjacked, harassed or assaulted in any public space, the fear of being physically attacked because of their race or religious beliefs, and the problem of people using drugs. Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa and Eskisehir were also included in the list from Turkey
