The traditional “II. Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival,” organized annually by LASİAD (Laleli Industrialists and Businessmen Association), will take place from May 27 to June 02 this year. At the press launch of the festival, paper dolls adorned the streets of Laleli.
Before the fashion show, which will be held on a record-breaking 150-meter runway on Laleli Mesihpaşa Avenue for the second time this year, Merve Büyüksaraç, Ebru Öztürk, Tuba Melis Türk, Didem Soydan, Nur Gümüşdoğrayan, and 24 models, along with LASİAD President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, LASİAD Vice President Muhammed Sancaktar, LASİAD Vice President İsmail Dark, and LASİAD Board Member Ercan Çelik, posed for photographs in the streets of Laleli to promote the festival.
Supported by the Mayor of Fatih, Mustafa Demir, the “II. Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival” will host wholesalers from both domestic and international markets, offering discount opportunities and various activities for guests from Eastern Bloc countries, Turkish Republics, and Europe from May 27 to June 02.
LASİAD President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, the organizer of the festival, said, “We should support this festival that will unite our region, make hearts beat for Laleli, and inspire hope for our future. As all members of Laleli, we should once again demonstrate our unity and solidarity.”
On May 27, Laleli will come alive, with stages set up at three different points featuring performances by local and international artists, dancers, marching bands, and impersonations of world stars as part of the day-long activities of the festival.
Another highlight of the festival is the grand fashion show on the 150-meter runway, organized and choreographed by Öner Evez. Forty models, both local and foreign, will walk the runway showcasing products from dozens of LASİAD member brands on Laleli Mesihpaşa Avenue.
