There is a restriction on floor freedom

AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Mehmet Muş made statements about the new law proposal that his party will submit to the Turkish Grand National Assembly for construction.

AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Mehmet Muş said, regarding the new law proposal, “High buildings will not be able to be built, and the penalties for illegal buildings will increase.”

Here are the highlights from Muş’s statements:

RESTRICTIONS ARE COMING TO FREE FLOORING

”Tall buildings will not be built. We impose restrictions on floor freedom. We impose an obligation to notify the land registry regarding productions that are known to be illegal or where additions have been made outside of the license. In other words, when a citizen goes to buy a flat, if there is such a discrepancy in the building, he will see it in the title deed.

IT WILL BE MADE COMPATIBLE WITH THE LICENSE

When will this be removed? This will remain on the title deed until it is brought into compliance with the license by the manufacturer and approved by the municipality. If corrected, this comment will be removed.

“THERE WILL BE A PINE! IT WILL BE COLLECTED FROM THE MUNICIPALITY. IF IT IS NOT PAID…”

If the citizens do not make this correction and the relevant municipality does not do it, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization will demolish these parts. All costs incurred will be increased by one hundred percent and collected from the administration. If the administration does not pay, it will be deducted from the funds sent from the central government. The amount of the penalty will vary depending on the value of the land. ‘From now on, buildings will not be able to go as high as they want, in order to accommodate the application we express as horizontal architecture.’

NO SHAVING

There will be no shaving of existing buildings. “There is no plan for them.”
