With the circular issued by the Ministry of Interior on Tuesday, April 28, the curfew restrictions imposed on Zonguldak as well as the metropolitan cities of Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bursa, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Malatya, Manisa, Mardin, Mersin, Muğla, Ordu, Sakarya, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Tekirdağ, Trabzon and Van were lifted as of 00:00 after a 72-hour period.
27,828 people who did not comply with the decision were prosecuted
The Ministry of Interior announced that judicial or administrative actions were taken against 27,828 people who did not comply with the curfew between Friday, May 1, when the curfew restrictions began, and 20:00 on Sunday, May 3.
It was also reported by the Ministry that as of 20:00 on Sunday, May 3, quarantine measures were implemented in 133 settlements in 47 provinces, including one district, 4 towns, 61 neighborhoods, 61 villages and 6 hamlets, and the quarantine was lifted in 247 settlements in 54 provinces.
