The September flight schedule of Turkish Airlines (THY), which suspended international flights due to coronavirus (Covid-19) and resumed flights as of June 11, has been announced. Iran flights, which were suspended again on July 19, were also included in the schedule as of September 1.
In the statement made on THY’s website, the following was recorded:
“As a result of our meticulous work with national and international health authorities, we are reuniting with our loved ones, our discoveries and the memories to be made on flights with healthier and safer standards. As we know how difficult it is to make plans during this period, we are pleased to offer you flexible travel opportunities. Between March 21, 2020 – August 31, 2020, you can make unlimited changes for your tickets. For detailed information, don’t forget to check our flexible travel page. The flight schedule shows our flights until the end of September. As our flight schedule is updated for your new travels, we will share it with you on this page.”
On June 11, THY launched international flights gradually and as of September 1, THY will be operating flights to Tehran, Tabriz, Shiraz and Mashhad in Iran, Hopa in Artvin, Vancouver and Madagascar in Canada, Riga and Tallin in Estonia, Batumi and Tbilisi in Georgia, Honai and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Dammam and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Constantine and Vahran in Algeria, and Mazar-i-Sharif in Afghanistan, The airline plans to start flights to Krasnador, Sochi and Kazan in Russia, Sulaymaniyah in Iraq, Mumbai and Delhi in India, Bahrain, Amman in Jordan, Ashkaabat in Turkmenistan, Vilnius in Lithuania, Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, Thessaloniki in Greece, Marrakech in Morocco, Muscat in Oman, Abuja and Lagos in Nigeria, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban in South Africa and Abu Dhabi.
