“The Foreign Market Support Program,” initiated between the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration Presidency (KOSGEB), was formalized with the signing of a collaboration protocol. Under the “TİM-KOSGEB Export First Step Mobilization Collaboration Protocol” signed by TİM President İsmail Gülle and KOSGEB President Cevahir Uzkurt, up to 300,000 Turkish Liras in support will be provided to SMEs already exporting or planning to start exporting in six different categories.
With this protocol, KOSGEB will provide support of up to 300,000 TL for SMEs that will be venturing abroad for the first time or seeking to increase their market share in foreign markets.
Within the program, SMEs will receive support in six categories, including personnel expenses, software and hardware expenses, promotional expenses, foreign trade fair and travel expenses, support for testing, analysis, and certification expenses, and support for service procurement expenses.
The signing ceremony of the protocol took place at the Foreign Trade Complex with the participation of the Minister of Commerce Ruhsar Pekcan and the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank. LASİAD President Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca and board members attended the signing ceremony on behalf of LASİAD. Following the signing ceremony, the 3rd Delegates Workshop of TİM was held.
