On March 22, 2021, TOBB Turkey Apparel and Ready-made Clothing Industry Assembly Meeting was held via video conference.
TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç attended the meeting. Members of the Ready-made Clothing Industry Council also participated in the video conference moderated by Şeref Feyat, President of the Ready-made Clothing Industrialists’ Assembly, and expressed their problems.
Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy Chairman of TOBB Apparel and Ready-made Clothing Industry Assembly, represented LASİAD and attended the video conference where sector problems were discussed. In the video conference, Eyyüpkoca expressed the problems Laleli experienced during the pandemic period and encountered in trade with Russia, and underlined the drawbacks and difficulties of the chip system implemented by Russia, and presented a comprehensive report to TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu for the solution of this problem.
