Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, in her post on her Twitter account, stated that due to the new type of coronavirus outbreak, all incoming vehicle, goods and passenger entries at the border gates opened to Iran were temporarily stopped as a precaution.
Pekcan included the following statements in her post:
“Export and transit operations from Turkey continue in a controlled manner. The routes of vehicles that will transit from Turkey via Iran will be monitored. Our employees at our customs gates strictly comply with the hygiene and health rules, and the necessary precautions have been taken.”
