After many workplaces returned to normal working hours and businesses opened their shutters, traffic congestion occurred in some places on the Anatolian Side in the morning.
There was heavy traffic in the morning hours in the Gülsuyu, Küçükyalı, Sahrayıcedit, Göztepe locations towards Kadıköy.
Traffic came to a halt at many points on the E-5 and TEM highways.
While there is congestion in the direction of Beylikdüzü-Avcılar, Yenibosna-Bahçelievler and Halıcıoğlu-Okmeydanı, traffic is also moving slowly on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge.
While there was two-way congestion on the Golden Horn Bridge, it was also observed that there was traffic at Beşiktaş and its connection points.
At some points, traffic accidents with minor material damage occurred.
According to the data of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s mobile application, the traffic density in the city was shown as 49 percent at 09.15, while the density of public transportation vehicles was also observed compared to previous weeks.
