Following the negotiations between the civil aviation authorities of Turkey and Russia, Russia has received permission for Gazipaşa (Alanya) and Turkey has received permission for Grozny and Zhukovsky (Moscow Region), and these routes will now be served by scheduled flights from both countries.
According to the memorandum signed after the meeting between the civil aviation institutions of Turkey and Russia in Moscow on December 20-21, the new destinations added to the flight routes between Turkey and Russia are as follows:
“Air Transportation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Russian Federation with the Route Schedule The designated airline of the Russian Federation shall have the right to operate international scheduled air services in both directions on the routes determined in accordance with the Agreement:
Points authorized for Russian airlines:
Ankara, Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman, Istanbul, Izmir, Izmir, Trabzon, Samsun, Gazipasa and 8 other points freely chosen by the Russian side.
Permitted destinations for Turkish airlines:
Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Astrakhan, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Nalchik, Nizhnekamsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Sochi, Rostov, Stavropol, Ufa, Grozny, Zhukovsky.”
