It has been decided to organize the 19th Turkey-Russia and Russia-Turkey Business Councils Joint Meetings on November 30th in Voronezh, Russian Federation.
The statement made by Foreign Economic Relations Board DEIK on the subject is as follows:
“After the short-term decline in trade and economic relations between Turkey and Russia, it is important that we make the necessary efforts both as governments and business circles in the new period in order to regain the high level of approximately 33 billion USD in our bilateral trade in the previous years as soon as possible and to reach the target of 100 billion USD.
In addition to other important issues included in the KEC Protocol signed at the 15th Meeting of the Intergovernmental Joint Economic Commission (JEC) held in Kazan on October 21, 2017, it was also included that the 19th Joint Meetings of the Turkey-Russia and Russia-Turkey Business Councils, which is one of the most important events that constitute the milestones of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries in the private sector in terms of the issues on the agenda and the quality and quantity of the participants, will be held in Voronezh, Russian Federation on November 30, 2017.
In this context, our members who wish to participate in the Voronezh visit, which will be organized within the framework of the attached draft program, must register via the internet link https://portal.deik.org.tr/KatilimFormu/519/9385 until 18:00 on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the latest; Istanbul – Voronezh – Istanbul flight tickets, 3 nights accommodation in Voronezh, airport and city transfers, guide interpreter services and other organizational expenses, including the participation fee advance amount must be deposited into the account specified on the registration page.

In order to speed up the visa procedures, the names of the participants who indicate that they need a business visa in the registration form will be notified to the authorities in Russia and invitation letters will be requested from the other party, and the relevant letters will be forwarded to the Russian Federation Ankara Embassy and Istanbul Consulate General. All kinds of updates and detailed information regarding the aforementioned visit program will be communicated to the representatives of the companies confirming participation.”
Meanwhile, it was announced that “Adygea Investment Forum” will be held on November 9th in Maykop, the capital of the Republic of Adygea in the North West Caucasus region of the Russian Federation.
