A military cargo plane carrying Turkey’s medical aid to North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo against the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak took off from Ankara.
Turkey sent medical aid materials to the 5 Balkan countries that requested assistance to support the fight against Covid-19 with the instruction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The materials consisting of masks, overalls and rapid diagnosis kits prepared by the Ministry of Health were loaded onto an A400M type cargo plane from Etimesgut Military Airport.
On the aid materials on the plane, which will first go to Serbia, Mevlana’s words, “There are many hopes behind despair. There are many suns behind the darkness.”
Turkey also provided medical aid to Italy and Spain last week.
