Turkey’s most comprehensive Covid-19 measures will be inspected across Turkey

The Ministry of Interior sent a circular on “Coronavirus Controls” to 81 provincial governorships.

In the statement made by the Ministry, in the circular sent to the governorships, it was reminded that from the moment the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak was seen, in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the Coronavirus Scientific Committee and the instructions of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, many measures were decided and implemented in order to manage the risk posed by the outbreak in terms of public health and public order, to ensure social isolation, to maintain distance and to keep the spread rate under control.

In the circular emphasizing that compliance with the basic principles of cleanliness, mask and distance rules as well as the measures determined for all business lines and living spaces during the controlled social life period is of great importance for the success of the fight against the epidemic, it was emphasized that the governorships were instructed to carry out inspections at certain intervals or on certain days with the circulars issued on different dates in this framework.

In the circular, considering the number of cases in recent days, it was underlined that the importance of complying with the existing measures in all areas of life has once again emerged, and it was stated that the most comprehensive Covid-19 measures will be inspected throughout the country.

The slogan of the audit is “For health, for all of us”

Accordingly, the most comprehensive Covid-19 inspection to date will be carried out in all provinces and districts today with the slogan “For health, for all of us” with the participation of the governor, district governor, mayor, managers and staff of all relevant public institutions and organizations, professional chambers, general law enforcement units (police, gendarmerie, coast guard) and private law enforcement units (such as the police, private security).

The inspections will be planned to cover all living spaces, including accommodation facilities, shopping malls, marketplaces, social markets, restaurants, cafes, cafes, restaurants, coffee houses, cafes, tea houses, tea gardens, wedding and wedding venues, barbershops/ hairdressers/beauty centers, internet cafes/salons and electronic gaming venues, parks/picnic areas, amusement parks/thematic parks and taxi stands, as well as urban and intercity public transportation vehicles and taxis.

Inspection teams will be determined to consist of representatives of relevant public institutions and organizations (such as law enforcement, local administrations, provincial/district directorates) and professional chambers, taking into account the expertise of each business line or place.

During the work, guidance and awareness-raising activities will be emphasized.
