“Turkey participated in the Central Asia Fashion – CATEXPO Fair, organized in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on March 12-14, under the organization of IHKIB/Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association, with 16 companies. LASİAD Chairman of the Board, Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, and Vice Chairman Ercan Hardal attended the fair on behalf of LASİAD and also performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Interest from European companies
The fair, mainly featuring women’s ready-to-wear products but also showcasing shoes, leather ready-to-wear, and lingerie, attracted buyers from various countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Moldova, Russia, China, France, Finland, and Italy. Turkish companies such as Phardi, Mees, Baraca, Beggi, Dossi Dossi, Of White, Eveline, La Chere, Merkür-Algore, Ricardo, Green Tous, Serianno, Setre, Kasha, Beethoven, and Whiney had the opportunity to meet and showcase their products to buyers from these diverse countries, both through their stands and fashion shows.”
