Vostok-Zapad “East-West”, which has been advertised for a long time and is touted as the first Turkish-Russian TV series whose posters have been hung all over Moscow, met with the audience on Domashniy television channel with its first episode last night.
The series, which is shot as a melodrama, is about a love in two different poles, starring Eugene Loza (Tatyana in the movie) as the daughter and Adnan Koç as the Turkish lover. Adnan Koç, whose name in the movie is Kemal, had previously played Behram Pasha in the Magnificent Century series, which was repeatedly shown on the same channel with Russian dubbing for a long time.
The rerun of the series will be shown again today at 14:00.
