Our country has been exposed to many internal and external attacks in the last fifteen years. These attacks were eliminated by the will and foresight of our ancient nation, often at great cost. So much so that the traitors who claimed to be from within the nation were able to kill this nation without mercy. For a while, we lost hundreds of people in explosions that occurred almost every month. Military memorandums, terrorism, 17-25 December, strange cases, etc. Then, as expected, the unsuccessful process escalated into serious financial attacks. Our country was left alone with global financial attacks that are perhaps unprecedented in the world. While the world watches this process with astonishment, the US administration is ruthlessly attacking our country using the dollar argument it has. Hoping to gain political concessions from Turkey by pressuring it economically, the USA continues these attacks uninterruptedly.
Of course, these attacks are not only implemented on Türkiye. Countries such as Iran and Russia also have their share in this process. But we have a difference. Our country is not rich in oil and gas like Iran and Russia. Our strength is our long-standing industry, our influence in production and enterprise. In this respect, while other countries feel this attack more on a state basis, we are also affected by the private sector. Increased volatility in exchange rates creates uncertainty in our manufacturing and export sectors and aims to disrupt future investments. However, those who implement this plan ignore one fact. They do not take into account the unity and solidarity of this nation, its faith and the fact that when the time comes, it can sacrifice everything for the sake of the country without even a moment’s thought.
I would like to state that Laleli and our regional companies have a great responsibility in this process. Laleli’s influence is still being heard from word of mouth in our recovery from the crises that have occurred since the nineties. Every foreign currency we bring to our country will foil these treacherous ambitions and plans and help our country get out of this bottleneck. I would like to remind you that we must work harder than ever with this belief and determination. Laleli is ready and will continue to be ready whenever our country needs us.
According to our faith, we believe that there is good in every evil. This pressure and dollar operations implemented by the US administration should be seen as the beginning of a great collapse. These brutal and brutal acts of negligence have greatly discredited the USA, which claims to be a global power, in the eyes of the world. In particular, the perception that the dollar is a tool of destruction in global trade pushes states to find alternative monetary instruments. This process can be seen as a milestone in the collapse of the dollar, which was used as a financial weapon. From now on, countries will focus more on local currencies in the sale of their resources and products and will act by taking this threat/risk possibility into consideration. For this reason, I would like to say that 2018 will be the cornerstone of a great change and transformation in the historical process.
Our nation, whose history and roots go back thousands of years, certainly has the power and capacity to cope with these relentless attacks. As long as we are one and together. As long as we continue our path without slowing down, believing in our country, ourselves and our future. We know that this century will be a period when our country’s name will be written in golden letters and we will achieve great success. This is one of the reasons for the pain experienced. If you resist impositions and sieges, it is natural that you will face these attacks. However, if you do not give up and struggle, then your future will be bright and your future will be full of hope.
As Laleli, we are ready to shoulder any burden on this path that our country follows. We must make our economy much stronger and more effective within the framework of necessary reforms and action plans. Otherwise, although such attacks will not destroy us, they will tire us, wear us out and cause us to lose time. Therefore, we must quickly implement a dynamic economic model that is tight, effective and will operate within the framework of the requirements of the age.
