Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov will attend the ceremony at the Halic Congress Center.
The construction of TurkStream, which consists of two lines of 935 kilometers each from Anapa, Russia to Kiyikoy, Turkey, has come to an end. The Russkaya Compressor Station in Anapa and the Turkish Kiyikoy Receiving Terminal have also been completed.
The TurkStream pipeline, which will deliver Russian gas directly to Turkey, was ready for gas flow as of December 31, 2019.
The first line of TurkStream, which has a total gas capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters (15.75 billion cubic meters per line), will provide gas flow to Turkey, while gas will be sent to Europe via the second line with the same capacity.
