Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu reported that the scholarship and loan payments of university students for April have started to be deposited into their accounts.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, Minister Kasapoğlu announced the dates of scholarship and loan payments after President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that loans and scholarships affiliated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports will continue to be paid to students without interruption within the scope of the measures taken against the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19).
As of today, scholarship and loan payments have started to be deposited into students’ accounts. Payments to students will be made according to the last digit of their Turkish ID numbers. Those with “0” at the end of their ID number will receive their payments today, those with “2” will receive their payments tomorrow, those with “4” will receive their payments on Wednesday, April 8, those with “6” will receive their payments on Thursday, April 9, and those with “8” will receive their payments on Friday, April 10.
