The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure extended the vehicle inspection periods due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
The Ministry’s “Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Opening and Operation of Vehicle Inspection Stations and Vehicle Inspection” entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
With the provisional article added to the Regulation, vehicle inspection periods were rearranged.
Accordingly, motor vehicle owners who cannot carry out the inspection of their vehicles due to the Covid-19 outbreak, which has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, within 3 months from the effective date of this article, will be able to have this process done within 45 days from the end of the said period. These periods can be extended by the Ministry when necessary.
