“On June 20, 2013, LASİAD visited the President of the 19th Term of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), İbrahim Çağlar, at his office.
LASİAD Board President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, LASİAD Board Vice Presidents Erdem Soylu Karabağlı, Ercan Çelik, İsmail Dark, Mehmet Yasubuğa, Mehmet Ocaklı, T. Selim Poşul, LASİAD President’s Private Secretary Nada İsmail, and LASİAD Project Responsible Fatih Akkoç attended the visit.
Highlighting the economic importance of Laleli, LASİAD Board President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca discussed the projects undertaken by LASİAD for Laleli. Providing information about the Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival, Eyyüpkoca emphasized the need for support from ITO on a project basis.
ITO President İbrahim Çağlar, emphasizing that Laleli is a significant brand, expressed his readiness to contribute to strengthening this brand by collaborating with the businesses in Laleli at the highest level. He stated, “Laleli is crucial for us, and I am ready to contribute to increasing its brand value by collaborating on projects with the merchants in Laleli. If you present your projects related to Laleli to us, we can contribute to those projects, and together, we can achieve even greater things.”
At the end of the visit, LASİAD Board President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca invited ITO President İbrahim Çağlar to the LASİAD iftar (fast-breaking) event on July 10 and presented a plate with the LASİAD logo.”
