As a result of our ordinary general assembly held in June, our members showed their kindness to us and offered us the opportunity to serve Laleli for another term. In this process, in which we proceed with great faith and effort, we know the value of the task given and the weight of the burden on our shoulders. I would like to thank all our friends who believe, trust and rely on us. No one should have any doubt that we will work with at least the excitement and determination of the first day in the new period. I believe that this period is of great importance in order for the projects we have developed to reach their final stage, for our goals to be realized, and for us to reach the strong structure we hope to bring to Laleli. We will continue to work with all our strength for Laleli through the change of blood we have introduced in our board of directors and our new friends joining us. Our goal is firm, we have full faith. I believe and wish that during this period, we will bring brand new gains to Laleli, together we will find solutions to the problems of our region and carry Laleli to the future.
The Micro Export issue, which developed at the end of the last period and which we follow in every sense, is progressing at full speed. At this point, I would like to state that we have been following the process closely from the beginning and have been fundamentally involved in every aspect in order for it to progress correctly. I would like to state that we, as LASİAD management, are mobilized to achieve the success of this project, which will be a historical gain for Laleli. In this context, all our efforts are progressing in line with the interests of our country and region. I can say that we are on the verge of a turning point that will solve many of the gangrenous problems of our region through this project that will break new ground in Laleli’s economic and commercial infrastructure. We follow these processes urgently in order for Laleli to reach the goal it deserves.
Trade; In general, it consists of two basic trivets. One of these is risk and the other is prediction. In the light of the predictions obtained, the risks taken turn into commodities for the entrepreneur, which is a situation related to the foresight of the trader. The investments made by global actors like us are undoubtedly shaped in the light of regional and global issues. Especially recently, the winds of war blown in parallel with Iran and the USA deeply affect regional stability, especially energy prices. It is not a situation that can be explained rationally, especially for the Gulf Countries to take a position as if they wish for this possible conflict. The Middle East geography, which is currently surrounded by fire on all sides, cannot bear another war. The realization of this expectation will not benefit anyone, especially the Gulf Countries. All the region needs is peace and common sense. These countries, acting under the guidance of the USA, need dialogue instead of armament, and shaking hands instead of conflict. Instead of looking for the solution to our troubles and diseases in arms dealers tens of thousands of kilometers away, we should find them in the bonds of brotherhood engraved in our history. Instead of focusing on the simple cultural factions that separate us from each other, we should discover the values that bind us together with steel ropes. We’ve been hurt enough! We lost thousands, even hundreds of thousands of Ali’s, Ahmet’s, Hasan’s, Muhammad’s. Now is the time to put a stop to this. It is a time of being one, being brothers and embracing each other. It should not be forgotten that whoever turns his back on his brother because of his petty calculations will be the first to lose in this turmoil. Not seeing this truth can only be explained by being blind or lacking in understanding.
This new era and its footsteps show that change on Earth is very rapid and destructive. As a country, we do not and cannot have the luxury of missing this transformation, which is difficult to follow and quite shocking to be involved in. It will successfully take its place in Turkey within new commercial corridors, new alliances and new balances of power. This is the reason for the tension and conflicts in the Mediterranean basin today. The rights of our country and the people of Cyprus in the existing natural gas and oil resources there can never be ignored. At this point, our country’s stance is clear and clear. In particular, internal political conflicts should be put aside and we, as a country, should unite in line with our interests and take an upright and national stance with the government and the opposition. The reason for the hardships and pain felt is the cries of resistance that this global rupture has brought about in the forces that have been exploiting the Earth for a century. But the arrow is now out of the bow and will reach its target.
On this occasion, I congratulate you on July 15, Democracy and Unity Day, and I offer my respects to you, hoping that the traitors who betrayed their homeland will never cause such painful days in our country again.
