We will succeed for Laleli and our country

When we look at the latest export data, we see that there is a certain recovery in our country’s foreign trade despite the Covid-19 process. We can talk about an improvement, albeit partial, especially in the ready-made clothing industry. Our region, whose number of physical buyers has decreased due to the restrictions on flights since the beginning of the process, has been able to continue its sales and production as commercially technological opportunities allow. Subsequently, the flights that started between our country and the countries of the region, especially Russia, contributed to our trade and especially to Laleli’s tourism to a certain extent. In this phase called the new normal, our businesses have tried to adapt themselves to these new conditions. During the process, many actions such as minimizing costs, cross-training of personnel, periodic planning and measurements, and renewal of the internal financial system were tried by our companies and implemented in order to make the companies more efficient. Thanks to this intense and diligent working period, our companies, which are the most important values of Laleli, have somehow managed to carry themselves to these days. I hope that from now on it will be more sustainable and surmountable for all of us. Especially the global economic system and humanity have learned and are learning to live with this virus until a vaccine is found. It is not difficult to predict that life will be more digital and technology-oriented in the coming years. It is very important for our companies to invest especially in their technical and digital infrastructure. We can say that “reading the day correctly”, which was an important concept of the past, is now just an invalid discourse. It is time to accurately read the future, not the day. We are in such a period that, unfortunately, companies that live today correctly will not be alive tomorrow. Companies that plan the future today will be the successful companies of the future. That’s why we must constantly renew and improve ourselves to stay in the race. The intense competitive environment in the world has now turned into a war environment within those small screens we carry in our pockets. The size of companies can be understood to the extent that they can express themselves on these screens. No matter how powerful you are, you can only be strong, modern and known to the buyers you can reach. Anyone you can’t touch or reach anymore means you’re not there. It is not enough to just dedicate yourself to your job. It is essential that you establish a tremendous digital infrastructure and manage it rationally. To achieve this challenge, you also need a very strong human resource. Producing the right product at the right price is important for the continuity of trade, but it is not enough on its own. You have to somehow integrate yourself into global platforms. The world is rapidly shifting towards the virtual environment, moment by moment. Your brand and products only serve your vision in these channels. If you do not look at the economy from a holistic perspective, it is possible that you will constantly go backwards, let alone make progress. This is one of the most important requirements that the new normal brings to businesses. It is vitally important for businesses to invest the values they have gained through difficulties in these invisible but effective areas for their future. Physical promotions and activities are now directed towards these areas that cannot be touched, seen or have no object. A significant proportion of marketing, sales, promotion and promotion activities are now in digital areas. Especially the most successful companies during the epidemic period consist of companies that can establish and operate this infrastructure. We must be involved in these processes in order not to fall behind the times and to increase and improve the economic contributions we have made to our country over the years. Laleli’s dynamism, ability to adapt to changing circumstances and conditions and vision for the future are the biggest indicators that we can achieve this. The difficulties, crises and troubles we have experienced from past to present have improved us greatly in this sense. We have the power and belief to achieve this, and we will. All together, for Laleli and our country.

The 320 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves discovered by our country in the Black Sea have added a completely different vision to Turkey’s future. In addition to being a country that produces products and services, we have now reached a class of countries that can search for energy with their own resources, discover and produce it. I believe that this great change and transformation will take our country to a completely different vision. This hope will pave the way for completely different discoveries in both the Black Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean and will take our motivation and power to the highest level. I congratulate and express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the project since the beginning for their contribution, courage and faith to our country.

Kind regards,
