IF WEDDING FASHION İZMİR 2020, one of the fairs that shape fashion in Izmir, brought together thousands of professionals from both domestic and abroad between 21-24 January.
LASİAD Chairman of the Board of Directors Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Deputy Chairman Muhammed Sancaktar, Vice President Ahmet Turan and Board Member Ercan Çelik attended the fair, in the corridors of which the designs expected to be fashionable in the coming years in wedding dresses, groom’s suits and evening dresses were exhibited. LASİAD Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Süleyman Kaya and Board Member Tayyar Günbeyi participated in the fair as a company. LASİAD Delegation visited the companies participating in the fair and expressed their good wishes.
Europe’s largest
202 participants from 5 countries exhibited their products at the IF Wedding Fashion Izmir Fair, which is described as the largest fair in Europe in its sector in terms of the area it covers.
The fair hosted purchasing delegations from Germany, England, Italy, Iraq, USA, France, Spain, Netherlands, Russia and Israel, to which Turkey exported the most in 2019, respectively.
On the other hand, the final fashion show of the Wedding Dress Design Competition, organized for the 11th time this year by EGSD, was held within the scope of the fair.
Zehra Zayrek won the first place in the fashion show where 15 designs that made it to the finals were exhibited in the competition in which 125 designers from across the country participated with 350 designs.
