Minister Albayrak: Our goal is to be among the leading countries in the world and Europe

Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak stated that Turkey has achieved the second place with its growth rate in agriculture, leaving many countries in Europe behind.

Albayrak shared on his Twitter account about Turkey’s agricultural growth.

Drawing attention to the development achieved in this field, Albayrak said, “We achieved the second place with the growth rate we achieved in agriculture, leaving many countries in Europe behind. Our goal is to be among the leading countries in the world and Europe.”

Albayrak also congratulated all producers who made efforts and labor for this success.

In his post, Minister Albayrak also included a table on the average growth rates of European countries in agriculture for the period 2003-2019. Accordingly, Slovakia tops the list with a growth rate of 7.89 percent, while Turkey ranks second with 3.03 percent. Norway follows Turkey with 2.83 percent.

According to the list, countries such as Denmark, Germany and Belgium experienced contraction.
